I love Donna Hayward. That best-friend-who-fears-abandonment bullshit, is so so so accurate in the way Lara plays her and the writing. Also she’s a total ice queen, which I’m such a sucker for. Give me ice-cold bitch any day over sensual dreamgirl.
Oh, and I love Annie and Cooper. Sorry. Audrey was never a viable Coop option to me— she’s clearly in awe of him and he obviously is fond of her but I can’t stand the idea of the two of them actually together. The romantic tension was fun for awhile but do you really think Coop would get with an 18-year-old? That’d be skeezy, and skeezy’s the last thing I need for the show’s charismatic lead. I’m not into “flawed and interesting” characters if that means they’re seriously romancing teenagers.
